Dr. David Fogelberg Jr.
Senior Associate Veterinarian
With over 16 years of experience in small animal and exotic pet care, Dr. Fogelberg—we call him Dave—joined Maybeck Animal Hospital in 2013, where he quickly became a vital part of the team. A proud graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Fogelberg also completed his clinical year at the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine. His advanced training in veterinary dentistry has made him a trusted name in oral health care for pets, and his special interests include diagnostic ultrasound, endoscopy, and surgery. Dr. Dave brings a blend of expertise and a compassionate touch to every patient he sees, helping pets and their families feel truly cared for.

Ingrid
Practice Manager
Ingrid brought her extensive experience to Maybeck Animal Hospital in January 2013 as our Practice Manager. With over 12 years in the veterinary profession, Ingrid’s background spans both hands-on veterinary technician roles and administrative leadership. She has worked in a busy 5-doctor general practice and most recently in a large emergency, critical care, and specialty medicine veterinary referral center. Ingrid’s comprehensive experience allows her to manage our hospital with a blend of efficiency, compassion, and a deep understanding of both the medical and operational sides of veterinary care.
Melissa
Certified Veterinary Technician, Bookkeeper
Melissa brings over two decades of varied expertise to Maybeck Animal Hospital. After graduating from Parkland College’s School of Veterinary Technology in 2000, Melissa began her career at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, specializing in radiology and nuclear medicine. Her journey then took her to Long Island, New York, where she worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at a private practice, honing her skills as a surgical tech. In addition to her hands-on experience, Melissa taught Veterinary Technology courses at Brevard Community College from 2006 to 2009. Her wide-ranging experience and commitment to veterinary care make her an invaluable leader and mentor on our team.
Barbara
Client Service Representative
Barbara has been a dedicated member of the Maybeck Animal Hospital team since 2001. With a rich background in animal care, she previously owned and operated a well-regarded canine and feline boarding kennel for 24 years, where she honed her passion for animals and customer service. Barbara’s experience and deep love for pets make her a welcoming and knowledgeable presence at the front desk, ensuring both pets and their owners feel at ease.
Renee
Client Service Representative, Veterinary Assistant
Renee has been a part of the Maybeck Animal Hospital family since 2013, when she joined our team as a dedicated veterinary assistant. Pictured here with Rebel, her beloved childhood dog and a long-time Maybeck patient, Renee’s lifelong passion for animals shines through in everything she does. Outside of work, she devotes her time to rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned rabbits, helping them return to the wild. Renee’s warm presence and commitment to animal care make her a trusted team member and a friendly face for our clients and their pets.

With a background in hospitality and a heart for animals, Suzy joined the Grant Animal Clinic team in 2021, bringing her exceptional people skills and a warm smile to our front desk. Since shifting to the veterinary field in 2014, she’s been dedicated to making every client feel welcome and every visit a little brighter.

Certified Veterinary Technician
Caitlynn has been a valued member of Maybeck Animal Hospital since 2008, beginning her journey here while completing her training as a Certified Veterinary Technician. After graduating from the Eastern Florida State College CVT program in 2009, she became an integral part of our medical team. Caitlynn has a special passion for surgical care and serves as a skilled scrub nurse, assisting our doctors in surgery with precision and dedication. Her expertise and commitment bring a high level of care to each procedure, making her a trusted teammate in our hospital.

Certified Veterinary Technician
Felicia joined Maybeck Animal Hospital in April of 2013, concurrently studying Veterinary Technology at Eastern Florida State College. She graduated and became a certified technician in 2016. Outside of work she enjoys reading, aerial arts, and traveling with her husband.

Lora joined the Maybeck Animal Hospital team in 2016, soon after graduating from the Eastern Florida State Veterinary Technician program in 2015. A skilled and versatile veterinary technician, Lora brings a passion for animal care across multiple specialties, with a special interest in exotic pet medicine and surgery. Her expertise and enthusiasm make her an invaluable part of our team and a trusted caregiver for all of our patients, big and small.

Emiley’s enthusiasm for animal care and her commitment to learning make her a trusted and compassionate caregiver for every pet she meets.

Judy became a part of the Maybeck Animal Hospital team in 2018, where she works full-time as a Veterinary Assistant. Her passion for animal care is matched by her commitment to furthering her education—Judy is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technology program, working toward becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. Her dedication to both hands-on care and professional development makes her an invaluable member of our team.

Madison joined Maybeck Animal Hospital in 2020 as a veterinary assistant, bringing a natural passion for animal care to our team. She is currently enrolled in the St. Petersburg College Veterinary Technician training program, working toward becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician.
